EasyRotator KnowledgeBase – Error #1085, #1009 or Undiagnosed Error

If you receive error #1085, #1009 or an undiagnosed error while using EasyRotator for WordPress (especially when uploading a rotator), you are most likely experiencing a server configuration issue.  To help us diagnose the problem, please open a support ticket and include the following information, all of which is important:

  • The full text of the error message you receive in the EasyRotator editor application
  • The debug_WPAPI.xml log file (instructions for getting this file)
  • Your server's PHP error log.  (Contact your webhost if you're unsure of how to access this file.  Please note that we need the PHP error log, not the HTTP access log.)
  • (Optional) Temporary login credentials to access your WordPress dashboard, so we can attempt to reproduce the issue if the log file doesn't reveal the source of the problem.
